Medical Institute of Karakalpakstan

The Medical Institute of Karakalpakstan (KMI) is a public medical university located in Nukus, the capital of the Republic of Karakalpakstan in Uzbekistan. Originally established as a branch of the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute, it became an independent institution in 2020. It’s recognized by major international bodies, including the World Health Organization (WHO) and the National Medical Commission (NMC) of India, making it a popular choice for international students.
